2-Day Intermediate to Advanced Course
One on One- $899 per person
Two or more- $799 per person

• Kaituna River (commercial section, gates to above Trout Pool Falls)
• Wairoa River

• To participate in this course you must complete at least one of our ‘The next step’ courses, be able to demonstrate competency another way (such as a video of you kayaking the above named river section, or one of similar difficulty), or make a prior visit to us so we can assess your skill level to ensure your safety .
• It is mandatory to have the correct PFD with the following equipment: rescue harness with quick release, 3 x locking carabiners, 3 x 1m prusik cords, at least 15m throw bag, 2 x 3-4m tubular webbing slings, a whistle, a watch, at least one airbag (unless participating in our expedition course). If you require any of this gear, let us know. 
• This course will have a larger river rescue component including but not limited to: advanced throw bag skills and techniques, rope systems, portage techniques, foot entrapment rescue, improvised harnesses, live bait situations.
  
  This course is ideal for kayakers who are running these rivers already and want to learn some advanced tricks and techniques to help progress and push themselves further on familiar sections.
